Cargo/Camp Trailer - design & build - OHIO, 2022 - 2024
Cargo/Camp Trailer - built on top of a sturdy old boat trailer frame that I bought in Oregon. The cargo area is framed with metal studs, reinforced with wooden 2x4s, and bolted directly through the floor frame. The trailer features rear and side-mounted lights, front and rear deck areas, a custom metal shell, hundreds of dollars worth of bolts, waterproof washers, custom metal fenders, a spacious yet unfinished interior, deadbolt for the back doors, full-size front-mounted spare tire, interior-mounted piston jack, and three repurposed windows - one of which is a 3/4 skylight!
TREEHOUSE - design & build - OHIO, 2015 - 2020
Treehouse - 8’x10’ Frame built with reclaimed oak handrails, pressure treated wood decking, and wall panels made from planks of interlocking oak flooring. Nest-like roof made of tightly woven saplings and young trees.
TABLE & CHAIRS (PALLET WOOD) - design & build - Oregon 2016
Table and Chairs - made from reclaimed pallet wood. Both table and chairs are designed to be easily collapsible. Chairs convert to stools. Hardware includes wooden pegs, cotter pins, carriage bolts, and pallet nails. Drawer knob made with wolf lichen mixed with CA glue to create a natural inlay.
NATURE SHELF - design & build - Oregon 2019
Nature Shelf - minimal wood shelf built for displaying things found in nature. Made with 3” oak shelves and white pine, painted black with a durable satin finish - the second shelf is stained brown and coated in a clear lacquer.

Wedding rings - Rings made of carbon steel, machined, forged, and given a blackened patina and oil seasoning. Boxes made of Black Walnut - with a magnetic stand and coconut husk padding.

Knife Box - Made of black walnut and oak wood, with bamboo pins, and a brown felt lining. “RR” Inlay of lichen with CA glue.

Knife Set with Stand - Knives made of carbon steel, black walnut wood, and lichen cast in epoxy. Wooden stand made of figured black walnut, forged rebar, and neodybium magnets. Wood texture inspired by insects burrowing in wood - created with a rotary tool.

Knife Set with Stand - Knives forged from heavy gauge rebar, carbon steel, black walnut wood, and lichen cast in epoxy. Wooden stand made of figured black walnut, forged rebar, copper pins, and neodybium magnets. Wood texture carved with a small gouge.

Kitchen Knife - Knife forged from carbon steel leaf-spring, figured maple wood, and epoxy tinted with watercolor pigment. Wooden saya (sheath) made of figured maple wood.

Mushroom Knife - Knife forged from a carbon steel file. Handle made of figured maple, lichen cast in epoxy, and nylon fibers for the brush. Micarta sheath made of brown canvas saturated with epoxy resin.
