THE ONE - MURAL
I designed and painted this mural at Confluence Park in Denver in early 2025. Created in partnership with Denver Parks and Recreation and HealthOne Denver, it’s part of a series of murals along the Platte and Cherry Creek Trail celebrating health, well-being, nature, outdoor recreation, and diverse interpretations of “THE ONE.”
My design interprets “THE ONE” as a unified whole—where humans, nature, and the cosmos are intrinsically connected. Drawing on both macro and micro scientific concepts, this design blends my spiritual ideas with material science and the quantum realm, using information graphics and cut-away views to reveal what lies beneath the surface of our physical reality.
The mural emphasizes symbiosis between humans and nature through elemental imagery. Water, fire, earth, air, and aether appear alongside subatomic particles, wave-particle light, and visual metaphors inspired by Hermetic principles such as correspondence, vibration, polarity, rhythm, and gender.
Our internal systems—nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular—interact constantly with the environment. They function through light, sound, and electromagnetic energy vibrating at different frequencies. Like the planet, our bodies are composed of water, salt, and minerals, producing chemical signals, bio-photons, and electricity. We are shaped by frequency and electromagnetic forces across the light spectrum, much of which remains unseen and misunderstood.
